UNIT1 - Evaluation

                                                                         Evaluation
                                                           (Unit 1 Margate Presentation)

Feedback (Negative):

I think it may need colour” - The end of the poem book needed colour at the end to represent the regeneration of Margate....

More confidence” - Not being shy, not just looking at the slides....

Spelling mistakes” - In the presentation....

Speak Louder”- Instead of looking at the screen....

Face the audience” - Don't look at the paper look towards the audience....

What Went Well:

Generally overall it was good and there where more positives than negatives this is always good in
a presentation. I produced a slide presentation so that the viewers can also read off there if they
hadn't got the book in time, which I had given out. The viewers liked the final piece in which I had
created the poem with the collage of pictures on each page “The 4th generation of Margate” I handed this out during my presentation. There was positive feedback for the final piece. Also there where no mistakes reading it out.

What I can do to improve:

With the presentation I could improve many major and minor things an example of a minor is that there are a few spelling mistakes this was bought up after my presentation. After looking at it I realised there where some spelling mistakes. There would not be much to change on the final piece there was only one point which was bought up after the presentation, the point was that I need colour towards the end of the poems so this would show change colour would have made this better.

Final piece:

My final piece was the poem itself. This was formatted in a book of many pages with montages of margate in its past days and to the future the montages were made by photos I have taken and some that I had found in books and on the internet. The final piece mainly got positive feedback. When I was putting together this final piece the printer would not print of photos with colour so the poem book was all in black and white. Later after the presentation I had got a new printer so any feedback I got to do with that I could improve. I got some feedback for the final piece "I think it may need colour", I will take this point into consideration.

Homeless Poster

This poster aims to call attention to the situation of homeless people in Los Angeles through the use of everyday materials such as a cardboard boxes, newspaper or other materials we can relate to homeless people with. These items are not worth much to the everyday person but to a homeless person it is their home, shelter, blanket, warmth, etc.

Homeless Poster

This poster is a simple outlook on the homeless society it has a small picture in the center this is the focal point of the poster and this is the thing that they want you to focus on, not the writing beneath. This is powerful because the statistics and the picture are about children.
