The art of this movie poster has a sense of simplicity contrasted 
with the complexity of the background, this is a very common 
style in Miyazaki's work. 


Castle in the sky: 




Miyazaki has some really detailed backgrounds, these backgrounds
consist of usually a lot of different colours of the same shade.

My neighbour Totoro:


Totoro, again there are simple charactor designs
and the backgrounds are very detailed this is Miyazakis
style.

The anime's are usually set in an a Georgian/Victorian times,
 this is mainly shown in Kiki's delivery service.

    I have all of the movies listed and Pom Pokko, Whisper of the Heart, and the Cat Returns(wasn't a fan of that one) but yes. Hayao Miyazaki is my inspiration for just about everything in life. SO AMAZING!

    Yeahhh!!...Agreed...I have listed the Miyazaki movies only, but I really also love Isao Takahata!!...Ocean waves is good too!!...: )
